DeLynn Noel Madoux, age 46, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed on to her heavenly home on Apr 1, 2012. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 10, 1965, to Denny Wilson Madoux, Sr. and Marilyn Joan (Gruver) Madoux. She graduated from Hilltop High School in West Unity, Ohio in 1983, and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a major in counseling psychology. She was a licensed esthetician, having graduated from Central State Beauty Academy, and was co-operator at South Beach Tans & Spa in Oklahoma City. DeLynn was a free spirit who enjoyed music, travel, shopping, and being with her family and friends. She particularly loved and doted on her sweet nephew, Denny Wilson Madoux, III, who she visited often and cherished the time she was able to spend with him. She had a great zest for life, which served her well when she was diagnosed with cancer. In May, 2011, she celebrated five years cancer-free. She had a fantastic sense of humor, and her grace touched the lives of many. DeLynn is survived by her long-time friend and companion Michael Maupin; sister DeAnna Margaret Madoux; brother Denny Wilson Madoux, Jr., his wife Sally Dennehy Madoux, and their son Denny Wilson Madoux, III; her Uncle Don Gruver, of Edgerton, Ohio; her Aunt Joyce A. Madoux of Oklahoma City; a number of other relatives, including many cherished cousins; and a multitude of close friends and loved ones. DeLynn was a beloved sister, a fun-loving cousin, wonderful niece, and loving aunt. She is dearly loved and will never be forgotten. A grave side memorial service celebrating DeLynn’s life will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio on June 23, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. Krill Funeral Service, Edgerton is handling the arrangements. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the Edgerton United Methodist Church. Preferred memorials are to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Team Sharla Schooley’s Angels. DeLynn's family made the generous gift of donating her body to science for medical research, innovation and education through the GenLife Institute.
