Holly Ann Scranton, age 48, of rural Hicksville Ohio, died at 2:40 P.M. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, in her home after an extended illness. She was a 1981 graduate of Fairview High School and was employed as a bank teller since 1987 with 1st National Bank, MidAm Bank, Sky Bank and, most recently, with Huntington Bank in Edgerton. Holly was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Sherwood and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Holly Ann Scranton was born on August 10, 1963, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Theodore and Barbara (Boroff) Cline. She married Brian L. Scranton on April 21, 1990, in Sherwood and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband, Brian, are one daughter, Miranda Scranton, at home, her father and stepmother, Ted and Martha Cline, of Mark Center, three sisters, Lori (Steve) Stark, of Bryan, Ohio, Michelle Cline, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marla (Brad) Wonderly, of Bryan, three stepbrothers, Pat (Judy) Roberts, of Bryan, Kelly (Susan) Roberts, of Howell, Michigan, and Mike (Linda) Roberts, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachel Scranton, in 1996 and her mother, Barbara Cline. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. and on Monday, June 11, 2012, from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Mark DeLassus officiating. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
