Rev. Betty E. Hartman Laukhuf, 77, Bryan, died February 12, 2012, in Bryan, Ohio. She was born on December 12, 1934, in Archbold, to Wayland Hartman and Wilma (Kuszmaul) and Louis Ramey. She married Donald Laukhuf, Sr. on October 4, 1952. Betty was a 1952 Bryan High School graduate and attended bible colleges. She was a member of New Life Worship Center, volunteered for Christian Appalachian Project and Child Evangelism Fellowship, and taught bible studies in nursing homes and was a member and Chaplain of Angola American Legion Auxiliary Unit 31. Her employment included Allied Moulded, LaChoy’s and Village Reporter Newspaper. Surviving are her children, Donald (Lucy) Laukhuf Jr., Rodney (Currine) Laukhuf, Julie (Skip) Franks and Angela (Tom) Frederick; ten grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin (Louise) Hartman; two step-brothers, Russell (Pat) and Howard Ramey; three step-sisters, Eleanor Gooch, Lois (Frank) Propersi and Patricia Jensen; and a special aunt, Clara Kittle. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, half sister, Louella Ramey, and step-brother, Le Roy Ramey. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at New Life Worship Center, County Road C, Bryan, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, money may be given to the family, New Life Worship Center, Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center or CHWC Hospital Hospice.
