Eric H. Bowers, age 50, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:48 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2012, in his home surrounded by family after an extended illness. Eric was a 1980 graduate of Bryan High School and worked as a tool and die maker for J.B.M. Tool and Die in Bryan for thirty-one years. He was a member of the Bryan Moose Lodge #1064, where he had served as Prelate for two years, and was a member of the Moose Legion. Eric was an avid golfer, playing at Suburban Golf near Bryan. He also enjoyed woodworking and making grandmother and wall clocks. Eric H. Bowers was born on October 7, 1961, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Harold and Lola (English) Bowers. He married Ann Louise Phillips on August 22, 1986, in Blakeslee, Ohio, and she survives. Survivors also include one son, Jordan Bowers, and one daughter, Alesha Bowers, both of Bryan; three sisters, Deanna (Sid) Childress, of Bryan, Eloise (Tom) Walter, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kay (George) Dabrowski, of Vermilion, Ohio; and three brothers, Larry (Rita) Bowers, of Hamilton, Indiana, Clark (Lauren) Bowers, of Meridian, Idaho, and Brad (Karin) Bowers, of Burlington, Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A Tribute Service will be conducted by Bryan Moose Lodge #1064 on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Donald Dick officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan. Memorials are requested to Bryan Moose Lodge #1064 or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice.
