Arthur E. Stiltner, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:57 P.M. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan, where he was a resident. Mr. Siltner was a self- employed truck driver for over fifty years and a member of the Eastland Baptist Church. Art E. Stiltner was born on December 31, 1939, in Grundy, Virginia, the son of Arvil and Flossie (McClanahan) Stiltner. He married Dinah M. Smith on September 25, 1976, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. Survivors also include his six children, Penny (Michael) Bayes, of Bryan, Arthur “Bud” Stiltner and Chris (Julie) Stiltner, both of Cecil, Ohio, Ben (Tonya) Stiltner, of Littcarr, Kentucky, Shelly (Jeff) Willson, of Pioneer, Ohio, and Cate Stiltner-Capps, of Stryker, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Ida (Chuck) Friley, of Bryan, Charlotte Gingras, of New Port Richey, Florida, and Vicki (George) Perkins, of Harlan, Indiana, and three brothers Michael “Ernie” (Midge) Stiltner, of Bryan, Charlie (Kay) Stiltner, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Jeff Stiltner, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Doug Stiltner. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 11:00 A.M-12:00 P.M. in the Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan, followed by services celebrating the life of Arthur Stiltner at 12:00 noon in the church. Memorials are requested to the Eastland Baptist Church or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice.
