Thep Phonephomhom, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 5:40 A.M. in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient. Mrs. Phonephomhom was employed by Potter, Inc., Bryan, for twenty years, retiring in 2005. Thep Phonephomhom was born in That Phanom, Thailand, on January 10, 1940, the daughter of Pa Yia Nou and Ma Yia Dtoob Bouthakot. She married One Phonephomhom in 1957 and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2007. Surviving are her six children, Banlang (Vimala) Phonephomhom, of Bryan, Tengone (Bounhom) Somphanthabansouk, of Montreal, Canada, Sivi Cye, of South Korea, Vay (Guy) Sayapheth, of Akron, Ohio, Sone Phonephomhom (Amanda) Contalee, of Marysville, Ohio, and Sinh (Sy) Xayyachack, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were two sisters and two brothers. Services celebrating the life of Thep Phonephomhom will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, followed by interment in accordance with the Buddhism tradition. Visitation will be held in the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.
