Michael W. Nicholls

Michael W. Nicholls, age 58, of Pioneer, Ohio, died at 10:46 A.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier, Ohio. Mr. Nicholls formerly worked for Chrysler Jeep in Toledo, Ohio, and had resided in Pioneer since 1994. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the Bryan Am-Vets Post #54. He was also a member of Montpelier Eagles Aerie #2246, where he was an avid pool player. Michael W. Nicholls was born on December 23, 1953, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Charles and Frances (Taylor) Nicholls. He married Gloria L. Doster on August 24, 1991, in Toledo and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Robert N. (Savannah) Doster, of Montpelier, one daughter, Erin (Ray) Schilt, of Alexander City, Alabama, two grandchildren, Madison and Jeremiah Schilt, one sister, Penny (Joe) Miller, in Oklahoma, and three brothers, Richard (Connie) Nicholls, of Toledo, Pat (Patricia) Nicholls, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tom (Donna) Nicholls, of Plant City, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services celebrating the life of Michael W. Nicholls will be held for friends and family at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Eric Burkhart officiating. Military honors conducted by Bryan VFW #2489 will follow. Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice or to the family.
