Christina Marie Jones

Christina Marie Jones, age 55, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Monday, November 28, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio, where she was a patient for one day after an extended illness. Mrs. Jones attended New Life Temple in Bryan and enjoyed decorating and was an avid gardener. She was also very family oriented and especially loved her grandchildren. Christina Marie Jones was born on November 21, 1956, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Pedro and Esther (Villa) Rodriguez. She married Jimmy R. Jones on April 5, 1989, in Defiance, Ohio, and he survives. Survivors also include her father, Pedro Rodriguez, of Defiance, her children, Leticia (Jason) Gomez, Joshua (Amanda) Thomas, Shirley (and fiance, Adam Wagner) Jones, and Jamie (and fiance, Jon David) Jones, all of Bryan, four grandchildren, Jalen and Kyla Gomez, Karmin Thomas and Pierson Harmon, and seven brothers and sisters, Yolanda (Clem) Trevino, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Criselda Broder, in California, Linda (John) Dombrowski and Valentino (Heidi) Rodriguez, both of Toledo, Ohio, Tony (Tom) Rodriguez, in California, Eddie Rodriguez, in Florida, and Romeo Rodriguez, in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Pete Rodriguez. Services celebrating the life of Christina Marie Jones will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2011, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan with visitation two hours prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the family.
