Sue Ann Loffer, age 67, of West Unity, Ohio, died at 5:16 A.M. on Friday, November 11, 2011, in her home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Loffer worked at Tomco Plastics, Bryan, Ohio, the former Hayes Albion, and Cares Group Home, in West Unity. She and her husband also owned and operated Lakeside Market at Harrison Lake for many years. An avid crafter, Sue participated in many craft shows to display her talents and sell her wares. She was a former member of Bryan Chapter #248 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sue Ann Loffer was born on December 18, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Charles D. and Marie (Hinkey) Smith. She married Thomas Henry Loffer on January 10, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio, and he survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Melissa M. (Charles) Loffer Ogden, of Montpelier, Ohio; three grandchildren, Traci (Steve) Mahoney, Thomas (Lindsey) Ogden and Emily Ogden Sammons; nine great-grandchildren, Macy, Austin, R.J., Grady, Jobe, Alex, Maddy, Korbin and Easton; and two brothers, Steffen W. (Sue) Smith, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Joel W. (Debbie) Smith, of Bellbrook, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, from 12:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
