Kathryn E. Doty

Kathryn E. Doty, age 84, of Stryker, Ohio, died at 2:50 A.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan, Ohio, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Doty retired from Strydel, where she was employed as an assembler for many years. Kathryn M. Doty was born on July 28, 1927, in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of Emil and Eva (Eble) Groll. She married Charles Doty and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one brother, Frank Groll, and a sister-in-law, Carol Pardee, both of Bryan, numerous nieces and nephews and two special friends, Mabel and Leota. She was also preceded in death by five brothers. Services will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Roger Marlow officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery. Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
