Evadna M. Rohrs

Evadna M. Rohrs, age 84, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:16 A.M. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in her home. Mrs. Rohrs was a lifelong resident of the Edgerton area and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, and the Rosary Altar Society. Evadna M. Rohrs was born on June 30, 1927, near Edgerton, the daughter of Ambrose and Doris (Groff) Thiel. She married her husband of nearly 64 years, Paul L. Rohrs, on November 29, 1947, in Edgerton, and he survives. Survivors also include three daughters, Diana (Robert) Beverly, of Edgerton, Sharon (Kim) Carpenter, of Bryan, Ohio, and Carolyn Rohrs, of Mansfield, Ohio; one son, Chuck (Alice) Rohrs, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Lisa (Dean) Thiel, Jason Beverly, Douglas and Christopher Carpenter and Spenser Rohrs; and three great-grandchildren, Noah Beverly and Elizabeth and Felicity Thiel. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Ruth Thiel. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton with recitation of the rosary at 8:00 P.M. on Friday. Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, with Father Art Niewiadomski officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Edgerton. Memorials are requested to St. Mary School in Edgerton.
