John C. Hutchinson, age 60, of Montpelier, Ohio, and a former longtime resident of Bryan, Ohio, died on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Community Hospitals & Wellness Centers of Bryan. John was a former employee of Shur Tape in Stoney Point, North Carolina, where he manufactured duct tape. John was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge of Montpelier. He was born on July 21, 1951, in War, West Virginia, to Robert Clyde and Madge (Thacker) Hutchinson. He was married on February 7, 1986, to Sherry Davis and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, Sherry, are two daughters, Robin Forrester, of Bryan, and Sherry Scott, of North Carolina; two sons, Adam (Lindsey) Hutchinson, of Kentucky, and Robert O’Brien, of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; three sisters, Jan Lynn (Travis) Crandal, of Edon, Karen (Robert) Davis, of Maryland, and Pam Stoots, of Michigan; and a brother, Robert Steven (Grace) Hutchinson, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Clyde, Jr., a brother, James, and a grandson. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011,from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastors Gilbert and Rose Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
