Gary D. Moore, age 50, of Edon, Ohio, died on Friday, October 21, 2011, at his home. Gary was a former coal miner and factory worker. He had been a resident of Edon the past 13 years and prior to that a resident of Rome City, Indiana. He was a member of the Charity United Baptist Church in LaGrange, Indiana. Gary D. Moore was born on June 15, 1961, in Franklin County, Ohio, to Robert James and Irene (Tuttle) Moore. He was married on April 2, 2002, to Deb Rawlings and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nicole (Lee) Mauk and Stacey Moore; five sons, Jeremy (Trichelle) Matthews, Timothy Moore, Dustin Martin, Aaron Moore and Austin Moore; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Rosetta (Bobby) Spicer and Cathy Diehl; and four brothers, Ray (Betty) Moore, Rickie Lynn Moore, Bruce (Cindy) Tuttle and Travis (Teresa) Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Roger. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011, from 12:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. He will lie in state on Sunday, October 23, 2011, after 5:00 P.M., at the Charity United Baptist Church, LaGrange, Indiana. Services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. in the Charity United Baptist Church, LaGrange, Indiana, with Pastor Terry Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in the Edon Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Williams County.
