Edna Mae (Krill) Schott, age 92, of rural Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:10 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2011, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, where she was a resident, after an illness of six months. She was a 1937 graduate of Montpelier High School, attended office training school in Columbus and worked for The Aro Corporation during wartime. Her memberships included the Zion Lutheran Church, the Zion Ladies Aide and LWML. Edna Mae Schott was born on August 2, 1919, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Dickinson) Krill. She married Paul F. Schott on March 29, 1947, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church near Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2001. She is survived by two sons, Greg Schott and Ned Schott, both of Edgerton, and one brother, Donald “Skip” (Wilma) Krill, of Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruth Rutter and Lucille Trippy, three brothers, Arthur, John and Edwin Krill, and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Dickey Schott. Services for Edna Mae (Krill) Schott will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Lanny Zup officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 6, 2011, and one hour prior to the service in the church on Friday, October 7. Memorials in the name of Edna Mae Schott may be given to the Zion Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
