Rita M. McKarns

Rita M. McKarns, age 57, of St. Cloud, Florida, died on Friday, September 23, 2011, at 10:20 P.M. in her home after an extended illness. Ms. McKarns is a graduate of Montpelier High School and was recently was the canteen manager at VFW Post #3227 in St. Cloud. Rita M. McKarns was born on September 27, 1953, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Lee and Margaret (Rataiczak) McKarns. She is survived by one brother, Phillip (Kathy) McKarns, of Bryan, Ohio, one sister, Christine (John) Vender, of Corrales, New Mexico, and her Life Partner, Judy Ellis, of St. Cloud. Celebration of Life Services will held on October 9, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at VFW Post #3227 in St. Cloud. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street is in charge of local arrangements.
