Patricia A. Meyers

Patricia Ruth Meyers age 78 of Edon, Ohio died at 11:00 P.M. on Friday, June 30, 2011, in her home after an extended illness. Patricia was born on Jan 18, 1933 in Pioneer, Ohio and the daughter of the late Emmett C. and Helen D. (Edmunson) Esterline of Pioneer, Ohio. She married the late John Henry Meyers on September 27,1952 and he preceded on February 19, 2011. Patricia had been a nurse in the Williams County Hospitals for a short time, as well as a home-maker. Patricia also worked along with her husband farming and with the Meyers Egg Farm for 32 years. Patricia was a member of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Edon. Patricia is survived by one son, Larry (Debroh) Meyers of Edon, four daughters, Barbara (Richard) Hartley, of Edgerton, Ohio, Linda (Terry) Wilhelm, of Hudson, Indiana, Sandra (David) Wehrle of Edon, Ohio, and Diana (Steve) Ordway of Blakeslee, Ohio; Thirteen grandchildren - Bethany (Nathan) Munger, Scott (Nicole) Hartley, Tonya (Scott Fee) McGinnis, Jennie (McGinnis) Russell, Tammy McGinnis, Tabitha (Justin) Impton, Jake Wilhelm, Todd Meyers, Kimberly Wehrle, Kreg (Trista) Wehrle, Dr. Amber Wehrle, Krystina Bendross, Brandon Ordway; Eighteen great- grandchildren - Karli and Kayleigh Munger, Micah Hartley, Hannah Smead, Destiny Emmons, Makayla Dylan and Andrew Fee, Alicia Ford, Olivia Weinreich, Jayden and Riley Impton, Shelby and Benjamin Meyers, Alexander Kurtz, Braedyn and Trentyn Wehrle, Shannaya Bendross. Also surviving are three brothers Carman (Wanda) Esterline, Max (Grace) Esterline both of Pioneer, Ohio, Mike (Karen) Esterline of Montpelier, one sister Bonnie Day, and a sister-in-law Minnie Esterline both of Toledo, Ohio. Nine nieces and nephews, and nineteen great nieces and nephews. Preceded by death are her husband John H Meyers of Edon, parents Emmett and Helen Esterline of Pioneer Ohio, two brothers Denny Esterline of Pioneer and Lowel Esterline of Toledo Ohio, a brother-in-law Don Day of Pioneer and a nephew Marvin Esterline of Pioneer. Visitation for Patricia R. Meyers will be held on Thursday July 7, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio. Services will follow at 6:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Larry Wilson, minister officiating. Private interment will be held in the Edon Cemetery. Memorials in the name of Patricia R. Meyers are requested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
