Kathryn Craven

Kathryn Craven, age 96, of Angola, Indiana, and formerly of Edon, Ohio, died at 8:28 P.M. on Monday, June 27, 2011. She was a dedicated homemaker and gardener. Kathryn Craven was born on November 30, 1914, in Putnam County, Ohio, the daughter of S.D. and Nancy (Wilson) Wilder. She was the third born of thirteen children and was the last surviving. She married Herman Craven on December 23, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 2003. They lived in the Edon/Angola area their entire lives. Surviving are her two children, Shirley (Leon) Smith and Susie (Earl Dean) Craven, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
