Ellen E. (Horvath) Nofziger

Ellen E. (Horvath) Nofziger, age 85, Bryan, Ohio, died on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Nofziger retired from the former Bryan Nursing Home, where she spent her entire working career as a licensed practical nurse. She most recently worked as a greeter at the Bryan Walmart. Mrs. Nofziger attended New Life Worship Center in Bryan. Ellen E. Nofziger was born on August 29, 1925, in Mayfield, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert and Clara May (Sullivan) Crawford. She married Alexander Horvath, who preceded her in death in 1970. She then married Dennis Nofziger, who also preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Denis Horvath, of Carson City, Nevada, two grandchildren, Christina (David) Foor, and David (Toni) Hodapp, both of Georgetown, Kentucky, four great-grandchildren, Kyra and Draven Foor, and Garrett and Abigayle Hodapp, and one brother, Bob Crawford. Preceding her in death in addition to her husbands were one daughter, Charis Roberts. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor J. Mark Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
