Madge Hutchinson

Madge Hutchinson, age 83, of Montpelier, Ohio, and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 12:16 A.M. on June 13, 2011, at Evergreen Manor Care Center in Montpelier, where she was a resident. Mrs. Hutchinson was a homemaker and attended the Prayer Chapel in Bryan. Madge Hutchinson was born on January 19, 1928, in Stone, Kentucky, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Grace (Carter) Thacker. She married Robert Clyde Hutchinson on March 10, 1948, in Pikesville, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Hutchinson is survived by her five children, Pamela Stoots, of Jackson, Michigan, Karen (Robert) Davis, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, John (Sherry) Hutchinson, of Stopover, Kentucky, Robert "Steve" (Grace) Hutchinson, of Bryan, and Jan (Travis) Crandal, of Edon, Ohio, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Daniel Thacker, of Galion, Ohio, and two sisters, Jackie (Harold) Blankenship, in Tennessee, and Rose Clemons, of Clay City, Kentucky. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband were one son, James "Jay" Hutchinson, one grandson, John Hutchinson, one sister, Ora, and one son-in-law, Jeremy "Jay" Page. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Grave side services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, with Pastor Rose Lewis officiating. Memorials are requested to the Prayer Chapel in Bryan.
