Bonny L. Wilson, age 74, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan after an extended battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Alvordton High School in Alvordton, Ohio, and was a member of both the Montpelier and Bryan Eagles. Bonny was a grandmother to several exchange students and was adopted by many children in the 4-county area as a mother and grandmother. Bonny L. Wilson was born on May 15, 1937, in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest P. and Frances C. (Wiles) Knapp. She married Allen A. Wilson on June 17, 1956, in Stryker, Ohio, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Cindy Buehrer, of Bryan, three sons, Eugene (Debra) Wilson, of Montpelier, Ohio, Jeff “Punk” Wilson and Scott (Nikki) Wilson, both of Bryan, a guardian son, Tony Reeves, of Stryker, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Chantel Mason, Crystal Sherman, Stephanie Harrington, Chrissy Godfrey, B.J. Buehrer, Desirae Clauson, Jimmy Wilson and Denny Wilson, fourteen great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jyssica, Dyllon, Cooper, Zach, Emily, Dillon, Braydon, Trayson, Landyn, Addie, Aidyn, Alyssa and Elijah. Also surviving are one sister, Ruthann (Kenneth) Brown, of Bryan, and three brothers, Walter (Shirley) Knapp, of Englewood, Florida, Bill (Vivian) Knapp, of Melbern, Ohio, and Dennis Knapp, in California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Austin Wilson, one son, Duane Wilson, a daughter-in-law, Cindy (Wilson) Cravens, one brother, Richard Knapp, and one sister, Judy Dybevick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011, from 3:00-5:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday with Pastor Dean Phillips officiating. Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
