Rosanna M. Bostater, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:08 A.M. on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, where she was a patient after a brief illness. Mrs. Bostater graduated from Bryan High School, worked at the Tri-County Dental Dispensary, the soda counter at Ringer’s Drug Store, and then spent many years working for Watts Funeral Home and the Greenisen-Tilton Funeral Home in Bryan. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a thrift shop volunteer. She also was a thirty-seven year volunteer with the Red Cross in Williams County and served on the Human Services Advisory Board. Rosanna M. Bostater was born on November 14, 1929, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Knapp) Parrott. She is survived by her children, Michelle Mashaw-Ayling, of Pottsdam, New York, Dr. Charles (Sarah) Bostater, of Melbourne, Florida, Robert (Christina) Bostater, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Richard (Barbara) Bostater, in Albemarle, North Carolina. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Red Cross.
