Robert C. Abbott

Robert C. Abbott, age 81, was born to Chauncey M. and Margaret H. Abbott on October 5, 1929, passed away on April 7, 2011. A United States Army Veteran, Bob was born and raised in Point Place and moved to Lake Seneca in Montpelier after retiring from Abbott Tool, Inc. in 1988. Bob enjoyed life and was successful in that which he set out to do. From ice boating on the Ottawa River to panning for gold in Alaska, faceting to woodworking, he was always interested in new projects to conquer. A dedicated husband to Judy and a devoted father to John (Starra), Mary (Neal) Dulaney, David (Teresa), and Shawn (Rick) Chambers; grandpa to 19 and great-grandpa to 35, he will be greatly missed by all. The family would like you to consider a donation to Hospice as they provided excellent care and comfort for both Bob and his family with Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice, 433 W.
