Shirley A. Bonner

Shirley A. Bonner, age 67, of Edgerton, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord at 10:55 P.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was employed by LaChoy Foods in Archbold, Ohio, for over ten years prior to her retirement. Shirley A. Bonner was born on April 29, 1943, in Pennsboro, West Virginia, the daughter of Oliver and Inez (Collins) Whitehair. She married Ronald L. Bonner on January 23, 1959, in St. Marys, West Virginia. Shirley leaves behind her husband of fifty-two years, two sons, Ronald J. Bonner, of Lima, Ohio, and Steven Ray Bonner, of Toledo, Ohio, one daughter, Kimberly A. (Ian) Marten, of Ney, Ohio, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers, Lewis (Sue) Whitehair, of St. Augustine, Florida, and Gilbert (Barbara) Whitehair, of St. Marys, West Virginia, and one sister, Opal Whitehair, of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania. Preceding her in death were her parents. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 20, 2011. Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Shirley A. Bonner are requested to Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
