Wm. “Randy” Sholl, age 65, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 11:15 P.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2011, in his home after a brief illness, surrounded by his family and his dog, “Woody.” Mr. Sholl was employed by International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana, retiring in 1997 with thirty years of service. He then worked for the Edgerton Local Schools, where he was currently employed. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton and enjoyed being in the outdoors. Wm. “Randy” Sholl was born on October 18, 1945, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Earl W. and Margaret L. (Mattingly) Sholl. He married Karen J. Free on October 31, 1964, in Edgerton, and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, David (Terri) Sholl, of Sunbury, Ohio; one daughter, Susan Fiorucci, of Delaware, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bailey, Trevor and Justin Fiorucci and Brandon and Tyler Sholl; his siblings, Casey (Roger) Rupp, of Edgerton, Jo Harmon and Marilyn (Bill) Whitman, both of Bryan, Ohio, Cheryl (Junior) Schuller, of Edon, Ohio, Mary (LaVon) Stark and Connie Sidle, both of Bryan, Andy (Sandy) Sholl and Christine Cromwell, both of Hicksville, Rachael Metz, of Kendallville, Indiana, Jane (Milo) Knox and Tom (Kim) Sholl, both of Edgerton, Loretta (David) Koby, of Bryan, and Lorraine (Bob) Gearig, of Montpelier, Ohio. Services for Wm. “Randy” Sholl will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton with Reverend Stephen Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 2-8 P.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, with a scripture service at 8:00 P.M. Memorials in the name of Wm. “Randy” Sholl may be given to the Edgerton Area Foundation.
