Donna Marie Miller, age 93, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:40 P.M. on Monday, February 28, 2011, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan, where she was a resident. Mrs. Miller was a 1936 graduate of Bryan High School and worked as a bookkeeper for the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, retiring with thirty-seven years of service in 1983. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Bryan, where she sang in the church choir, and was former treasurer of the United Methodist Women’s Group. She also was former treasurer of the Hospital Auxiliary, where she was awarded a lifetime membership, and had been a member of the Bryan American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Bryan Business and Professional Women. Donna was an avid bowler and was a member of the Bryan Women’s Bowling League Hall of Fame. Donna Marie Miller was born on July 31, 1917, in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of James E. and Lena M. (Myers) Wines. She married Homer H. Miller on April 4, 1942, in Hicksville, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1997. Survivors include one son, Larry E. (Nancy) Miller, and one daughter, Kay L. (James) Reynolds, both of Bryan, three grandchildren, Sean (Stephanie) Miller, of Medina, Ohio, Stuart Miller and Sara Miller, both of Bryan, three great-grandchildren, Megan and Travis Miller and Sierra Miller, and one sister, Mary Ellen (Ronald) Clark, of Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Doris Votaw. Services for Donna Marie Miller will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in Faith United Methodist Church, Bryan, with Reverend Dr. Susan Roads officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 4, 2011, and one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., in the church. Memorials in the name of Donna Marie Miller are requested to Faith United Methodist Church.
