Doris L. Muehlfeld, age 92, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 6:00 A.M. on Friday, February 25, 2011, in Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, where she was a resident. Mrs. Muehlfeld was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton and a member of St. Mary Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the John D. Smith Post #10 American Legion Auxiliary and a pinochle club. She had been employed by the former Milliman Drug Store in Edon, Ohio, General Electric in Fort Wayne, Indiana, during World War II, and the former Edgerton Hardware. Doris L. Muehlfeld was born on April 7, 1918, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph and Delpha (Eubank) Brigle. She married Clair J. Pahl on October 25, 1941, in Edgerton, and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1958. Doris married Earl F. Muehlfeld on January 16, 1971, in Edgerton, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1999. Surviving are three sons, Gene (Debbie) Pahl, of Edgerton, Darrell (Kathy) Pahl, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Lee (Karen) Pahl, of Edgerton, one stepdaughter, Irene (Robert) Lehman, also of Edgerton, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, thirteen stepgrandchildren, thirty-three stepgreat-grandchildren, and eight stepgreat-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Carmie Keller, of West Unity, Ohio, one brother, Lyle (Angela) Brigle, of Edon, Ohio, one brother-in-law, Dale Harroff, Jr., of Bryan, two stepdaughters-in-law, Linda Muehlfeld, of Blakeslee, Ohio, and Connie Welly, of Edgerton. Preceding her in death in addition to her husbands were one sister, Ruth Harroff, and three stepsons, Anthony Muehlfeld, Leo Muehlfeld and Gene Muehlfeld. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. A scripture service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, with Reverend Stephen Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton .
