Josie E. Davis, age 29, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 12:09 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, where she was a patient. Josie was a loving wife and mother, was a member of the House of Prayer in Montpelier, Ohio, and also was a member of the Montpelier Eagles. She formerly was employed as a weld operator at MATSU of Edgerton, Ohio, for six years. Josie E. Davis was born on January 29, 1982, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Don and Connie (Kohl) Borton. She married Hunter L. Davis on March 15, 2008, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kayla and Cheyenne Davis, both at home, one sister, Lacy Wolkowicz, of Jackson, Michigan, three brothers, Cody Boyd, of Bryan, Steven Boyd, of Nettle Lake, Ohio, and Heath Borton, of Jackson, Michigan, her parents, Steve and Connie Boyd, of Montpelier, and Don and Mary Borton, in Michigan, her grandparents, Bill and Sue Kohl and Harold and Arlene Borton, all of Montpelier. Visitation for Josie E. Davis will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the House of Prayer in Montpelier, with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Visitation will also be held in the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Memorials in the name of Josie E. Davis are requested to the family.
