Marjorie J. Schlosser, age 87, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Hillside Country Living, where she was a resident. She had worked as a press operator at Ohio Art Company, Bryan and retired with thirty-two years of service. Marjorie J. Schlosser was born on November 21, 1923, in Farmer, Ohio, the daughter of Hal C. and Agnetta (Pollick) Spires. She married Melvin D. Schlosser on January 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death in July 1988. Mrs. Schlosser is survived by three daughters, Janet (David) Sabins and Vickie Gearhart, both of Bryan, and Judy (Randy) Huber, of Stryker, Ohio, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna Sauder, of Archbold, Ohio, and Joyce Waterston, of Pioneer, Ohio. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband were one sister, Marseille Beals, and one brother, Darrell “Joe” Spires. Grave side services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, February 21, 2011, in the Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan, with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
