Joshua D. McDaniel, age 25, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Friday, February 11, 2011, at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio, from injuries sustained in a fall. He had attended Bryan High School and 4-County Career Center and enjoyed playing X-Box and Frisbee golf. He also loved being with friends and family and he will live on in others with his gift of organ donation. Joshua D. McDaniel was born on April 19, 1985, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Kenneth and Debbie L. (Dick) McDaniel. He is survived by his parents, Debbie L. (and fiance, Todd Augsburger) Dick-Vieth, of Bryan, his father, Kenneth (Rhonda) McDaniel, in West Virginia, one brother, Jeremy (Jamie) McDaniel, of Bryan, one sister, Mary McDaniel, of Bryan, and his grandparents, DeFloy and DeWayne Dick, of Bryan, and Helen and Tim Gearig, also of Bryan. He is also survived by three nieces, Jayce, Madison and Alisa, and three nephews, Travis, Cody and Phillip. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jack McDaniel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association or to the family for expenses.
