Ruben Rangel

Ruben Rangel, age 47, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:37 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, where he was a patient. A 1981 graduate of Paulding High School, Mr. Rangel was employed in food service at various restaurants, including Shaffer’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, China Garden, Indian Meadows Plaza, and Cooper Hatchery. An avid Michigan fan, he was very artistic and loved to draw. Ruben Rangel was born on June 9, 1963, in Zealand, Michigan, the son of Juan and Julia (Castillo) Rangel. Surviving are his children, Ruben Anthony Rangel and Julia Marie Rangel, both of Archbold, Ohio; one granddaughter, Savannah Rangel, and one grandson, Ruben Anthony Marsello, both of Toledo, Ohio; his mother, Julia Rangel, of Paulding, Ohio; four sisters, Rebecca (Ernesto) Campos and Eva Ferrell, both of Bryan, Fran (Ambrocio) Pedraza, of Defiance, Ohio, and Sara (Dennis) Morhart; of Hicksville, Ohio; two brothers, Josue (Maria) Rangel and David Rangel, both of Archbold, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Irene and Delia Ann Rangel. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2011, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 14, 2011, in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Reverend Rosie Perez officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the family for funeral expenses.
